Electricity

Customers who live in New South Wales currently have 5 electricity plans to choose from. They include:

  • Simply Save: Those who choose the Simply Save plan will receive a benefit of 10% off of their electricity bill as long as they pay on time. The benefit period is 12 months and customers face no exit fees.
  • Simply Plus: The Simply Plus plan offers customers an 18% usage discount when they pay on time. This benefit will apply for 24 months and customers who decide to leave will not incur an exit fee.
  • Simply AFL Plus: Customers who opt for the Simply AFL Plus plan will receive a guaranteed 10% off of each bill for 24 months. Additionally, those who pay on time will get an extra 10% for the benefit period of 24 months. Customers who sign up online will also receive a $100 Online Welcome Credit. Like the other plans, this one comes with no exit fees.
  • Simply NRMA Plus: NRMA members have the option to choose the Simply NRMA Plus plan. This plan offers a 10% discount benefit to those who pay on time and an additional 11% off NRMA member discount. The benefit period for this plan is 24 months and there are no exit fees.
  • Simply Movies Plus: Customers who enjoy going to the movies could benefit from the Simply Movies Plus plan. With this plan, those who pay on time receive a 10% discount benefit. Additionally, customers can choose between 1 Gold Class movie ticket or 2 Traditional tickets every three months. As the benefit period is 24 months, this provides customers with 8 Event Cinemas Gold Class tickets or 16 Event Cinemas Traditional tickets over 2 years. Simply Movies Plus customers are also eligible for a $50 Online Welcome Credit if they sign up online
Gas

  • Simply AFL Plus: Customers who opt for the Simply AFL Plus plan will receive a guaranteed 10% off of each electricity bill and 10% off of each gas bill for 24 months. Additionally, those who pay on time will get an extra 10% of per each bill during the benefit period of 24 months. Customers who sign up online will also receive a $50 Online Welcome Credit. Like the other plans, this one comes with no exit fees.
  • Simply RAA Plus: RAA members have the option to choose the Simply RAA Plus plan. This plan offers a 10% discount benefit to those who pay on time and an additional 8% off RAA member discount. The discounts are applied to the electricity bill and again to the gas bill. The benefit period for this plan is 24 months and there are no exit fees.
  • Simply Movies Plus: Customers who enjoy going to the movies could benefit from the Simply Movies Plus plan. With this plan, those who pay on time receive a 10% discount benefit on their electricity bill and 10% for their gas bill. Additionally, customers can choose between 1 Gold Class movie ticket or 2 Traditional tickets every three months. As the benefit period is 24 months, this provides customers with 8 Event Cinemas Gold Class tickets or 16 Event Cinemas Traditional tickets over 2 years. If customers choose both gas and electric, their movie benefit is doubled. Simply Movies Plus customers are also eligible for a $50 Online Welcome Credit if they sign up online.

  • Simply Save: Those who choose the Simply Save plan will receive a benefit of 30% off of their electricity bill and 15% off their gas bill as long as they pay on time. The benefit period is 12 months and customers face no exit fees.
  • Simply Plus: The Simply Plus plan offers customers a 40% usage discount for their electricity bill and 26% off of their gas bill when they pay on time. This benefit will apply for 24 months and customers who decide to leave will not incur an exit fee.
  • Simply AFL Plus: Customers who opt for the Simply AFL Plus plan will receive a guaranteed 10% off of each electricity bill and 10% off of each gas bill for 24 months. Additionally, those who pay on time will get an extra 30% off of their electricity bill and an additional 15% off of their gas bill during the benefit period of 24 months. Customers who sign up for electricity and gas online will also receive a $100 Online Welcome Credit. Like the other plans, this one comes with no exit fees.
  • Simply RACV Plus: RACV members have the option to choose the Simply RACV Plus plan. This plan offers a 30% discount benefit on electricity bills to those who pay on time and an additional 15% off RACV member discount. Additionally, gas customers receive a 15% discount benefit and a 15% RACV member benefit – totaling 30% off. The benefit period for this plan is 24 months and there are no exit fees.
  • Simply Gold Class Plus: Customers who enjoy going to the movies could benefit from the Simply Gold Class Plus. With this plan, those who pay on time receive a 30% discount benefit on their electricity bill and 15% for their gas bill. Additionally, customers will receive 2 Village Cinemas Gold Class tickets every three months. As the benefit period is 24 months, this provides customers with 16 tickets over the two-year period. Simply Gold Class Plus customers are also eligible for a $100 Online Welcome Credit if they sign up online for both electric and gas services.
